In our world of YouTube, Flip phones and HD consumer video cameras, it’s amazing how much content ends up online. Here’s a fascinating conversation online between two gentlemen in the fitness industry discussing Motionsoft that you don’t want to miss. You never know when people are going to be talking about your gym or how they’ll hear about it.
Have you thought about how easily YouTube and your website give you the chance to communicate your gym through video? This little video only cost us $10 to make. Granted, this doesn’t communicate our business well, but isn’t it amazing that we could make this in 10 minutes for $10 dollars. Our point is, video content is easier to create than ever before.
There’s surely video production companies in your area who can shoot and edit it incredibly inexpensively. That video, done properly, uploaded to YouTube and then embedded in your website, might add an engagement factor that not only brings to life your gym, facilities, and people but can aid retention. Why not shoot demos on how to use certain pieces of equipment? Or what happens in certain classes?
Don’t do it on the cheap. But don’t assume it’s the price of shooting an episode of CSI: Sheboygan. (are they doing Sheboygan yet?).
