I think we can all agree that Disney World is the greatest place on earth. But a very close second would have to be Las Vegas. What’s interesting about Las Vegas is they literally have buildings made out of gold. They make so much money that the only way they could think of spending it was to use gold everywhere. I knew it’d happen. I knew an FMG deal would excite and inspire me to write a blog (and keep me from going to bed at 2am). (Fun regular reader fact – when I talk in my sleep, I reference Burger King, not McDonalds. Fascinating, no?) Anyways, this week’s FMG Deal is for telephone on-hold marketing. And it really got me thinking. It helps you sell. It helps you retain. It keeps callers interested! The chance to engage members is right under your nose (the phone?)! If you aren’t doing it, why not?

Processes and activities that have been shown in practice to be the most effective. There is one thing that every gym seems to have in common…not a single one buys all their equipment from just one manufacturer. I’ll see Star Trac treadmills, Iron Grip dumbbells, and CYBEX ellipticals. A mix of the best gym equipment.
