Extreme Fitness Chooses Kisoftware

February 8, 2007

(PRWeb) February 8, 2007 — Motionsoft today announced that Toronto based Extreme Fitness, has chosen Motionsoft’s suite of club membership and facility management solutions, and Motionsoft’s flagship eClubLogic application, for all aspects of membership, staff and organizational management.

Prior to choosing Motionsoft, Extreme relied on a proprietary membership management software system developed by an in house team. While that system served its function well, Extreme business owners realized that their rapid growth plans would be impeded unless a new membership management system was identified and deployed.

“KI’s [now Motionsoft] reputation in delivering proven solutions to some of the most successful health and fitness organizations in North America made them a natural choice for us” said Extreme’s Chief Financial Officer, David Bell. “After an extensive due diligence process and vendor search, we realized that their successful track record in developing customized solutions, positions us well for our future growth plans” he added.

“We are very fortunate to have been picked from a select group of software vendors to meet the immediate and long term organizational objectives Extreme has” Said Al Noshirvani, President and CEO of Motionsoft. “Their commitment to member service and innovative business model, will help to make our club management software even better.”

Motionsoft’s eClubLogic product suite will have a positive impact on Extreme’s ability to exceed member service expectations, while providing enterprise level data processing and analytical tools to management.

Combined company to continue tradition of delivering highest quality software and service to the health and fitness industry.

Silver Spring, MD (PRWEB) November 16, 2006 — Motionsoft today announced the acquisition of Tucson based Computer Outfitters. As a result, Motionsoft will immediately assume support and development responsibilities for all Computer Outfitters’ customers. The acquisition will strengthen Motionsoft’s marketplace, product line, and allow for enhanced customer support services. The deal also represents a major opportunity for Motionsoft to build on the 25 years of industry experience and business acumen of Computer Outfitters’ leadership and staff who will remain on board.

“Our vision for Motionsoft has been to build a company with a single goal in mind; to consistently exceed our customers’ expectations with feature rich applications and unmatched support,” said Al Noshirvani, MotionSoft CEO. “We can’t think of another company in our industry which has demonstrated this same vision better than Computer Outfitters.”

Frank Anderson, Computer Outfitters Founder and President explained “Motionsoft has a solid product born from their work with organizations like Equinox Fitness.”

He added, “We intend to combine that with the product strengths that CM Plus has developed over 25 years, to become the provider of choice for larger facilities and multi-club companies.” Anderson will serve as the Vice President of Technology and Development at Motionsoft.

The combined company will gradually merge Motionsoft’s eClub and Computer Outfitters CMPlus software product suites, leveraging Motionsoft’s Microsoft Competency with the advantages of .net development tools. Computer Outfitter’s customers will gain immediate access to several Motionsoft modules including MyClub, an online accounts module that allows members and prospects to access club information, visit histories and statements through the club’s website.

With the merger, Motionsoft establishes a west coast presence in Tucson and becomes the only industry vendor to provide bi-coastal customer support. “West coast customers have historically been underserved in the industry and we intend on directly addressing that” added Noshirvani.

The Computer Outfitters acquisition is expected to increase the size of Motionsoft’s footprint in the industry to over 1500 facilities. Immediately following the close of the transaction, Computer Outfitters will become part of the Motionsoft business and both companies’ sales forces will begin reference-selling each others’ products and services.
