A few weeks ago, after waiting two years I finally was able to upgrade my phone for free. I can’t even explain the embarrassment, angst, and pain of having a two year old phone while everyone around you has a newer, sleeker, faster, better phone. I won’t kid you I was having technology envy. I’m about to invent (another) new word (refer to frappitizer and bridge technology)…so what exactly is this new feeling? I like to refer to it as OMGology…and quite frankly it’s a good feeling and one that can significantly help your business. Let me explain. Better yet let me pontificate.

Earlier this week I got my February issue of CBI. There’s nothing I enjoy more than starting a fire, putting on my favorite slippers, and getting into my favorite chair to leisurely read my latest CBI. Except it was 64 degrees outside, I only have Crocs, and it would be hard to select any particular one of my chairs as “the favorite”. But I did have CBI. And I was absolutely shocked by what I saw…

If you know the answer to this, then I will be very impressed. In fact there is only one person on earth that knows the answer…as far I know. Seems like a random series of numbers. And more importantly what does this have to do with running your business? This may get profound…but answers to these questions and more will appear if you just continue reading…

Every so often, I need to turn the spotlight and have it focus on us, Motionsoft, and what we do. I’m not talking about the webinars, or the FMG, or even this blog. For once I’m actually talking about software and billing. And specifically, what we have created in MoSo, and why we think it will help the industry. Don’t worry I’ll make it funny so it won’t be a complete waste of your time :)

Remember beepers? What about zip drives? Or even the 8-track tape…If you remember these things you have just aged yourself. More importantly you have experienced a phenomenon I call bridge technologies. That is technologies that were pretty much useless if you looked at them on their own. They were bulky, of limited real value, and had a shelf life shorter than Herve Villacheize’s pant suit. But, then you realize they helped get us across to the next technology. So what does this have to do with you…
