Meet Al Noshirvani and members of the Motionsoft staff…
Al Noshirvani, CEO
With 25 years of experience in software sales, four of them as the General Manager of KI Software, Al, with his brother, acquired the assets of the company in October of 2004 and founded Motionsoft. Since the initial acquisition of KI, Al has completed five other acquisitions and grown the company to over 70 employees with offices in Baltimore, MD, Washington DC and Tucson, AZ. In 2010, Al was named by the Washington Business Journal as a member of the 40 under 40 which recognizes the Greater Washington regions brightest young business leaders based on demonstrated business success. With the vision of becoming the leading software platform to consumer service businesses’, Al has used his leadership, sales and marketing experience to build one of the most respected brands in the market. Previously, Al was a founder and Executive VP of Sales for a medical software imaging company which he successfully exited from.

Hossein is the Executive Vice President for Motionsoft and is the head of Motionsoft’s marketing team. He has been involved in the health and wellness industry for over five years and has in-depth knowledge and keen insight into the industry.

Phil Coady, President[ Read the full bio… ]
Philip Coady brings nearly 18 years of enterprise sales and client management expertise to his role at President of Motionsoft. Most recently, Coady served as Vice President of Sales for SABA Software, a publicly traded leading provider of enterprise talent management solutions, where he was responsible for growing the company’s market share and continuing Saba’s position as the market leader. Prior to that position, he was Vice President of North American Sales at Plateau Systems, also a web-based provider of human resource software solutions.
Ed Darwish, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)[ Read the full bio… ]
Ed started his career in Public Accounting joining Grant Thornton after graduating from the State University of New York with an accounting degree. After four years in the public sector, Ed joined a semi start up private company and was involved in the first acquisition of Karch International (now Motionsoft) in late 1999. In 2004, Ed joined Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to gain the experience working for a publicly reporting company and was involved in implementing Sarbanes-Oxley for the two government divisions he managed. In mid 2006, Ed joined Motionsoft as the Chief Financial Officer.
Shane Edmonds, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)[ Read the full bio… ]
Shane Edmonds is a recognized technologist with 15 years experience in the Health & Wellness industry and has a strong history of leadership in all stages of the corporate lifecycle. He has participated in various aspects of product development, from hands-on engineering to strategic planning. As Co-Founder and CTO of FitnessInsite.com, Shane architected and brought to market its web-based application and CRM platform and secured clients such as Gold’s Gym International, World Gym, and Powerhouse Gym. Other software and web products he developed have been used by notable companies such as 24 Hour Fitness and Great Earth Vitamins. Most recently Shane served as CTO of Crunch Fitness, a renowned national chain of health clubs, where he played an instrumental role in its acquisition from Bally. Shane has also taught a software engineering and media curriculum as Associate Faculty at Arizona State University.
Alan Vouk, Chief Operating Officer (COO)[ Read the full bio… ]
Alan Vouk is a proven technology leader who has earned a reputation for successfully applying innovative solutions to complex business problems. He has extensive experience in developing and managing large scale enterprise systems in both the corporate setting and in the commercial Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry. His philosophy focuses on optimizing end user experience and support services to achieve maximum revenue and product/customer satisfaction. Mr. Vouk joined Motionsoft as an EVP of Operations to combine his domain expertise with this customer service philosophy to lead Motionsoft as the Health and Fitness industry leader in service delivery. Prior to joining Motionsoft, Alan was the Director of Information Systems at Equinox Fitness and took them from 13 to 40 locations nationwide.
Chad Roll, SVP of Sales[ Read the full bio… ]
Chad started his technology career in 1981 with Texas Instruments and is considered one of the founders of professional software telesales. At Keynote Systems, Nasdaq (Keyn), one of the first SaaS companies and creator of many of the standards used today, Chad drove revenue over $50M and to one of the most successful secondary stock offerings in history. Prior to Keynote, Chad helped make On Technology (now part of Symantec), one of the first direct telesales software companies to reach $50M in sales. Chad joins Motionsoft after 10 years in semi-retirement in Jupiter, FL pursuing his passion for sport fishing including qualifying for the World Billfish Series World Championships multiple times.
Benson Fine, Chairman of the Board[ Read the full bio… ]
Benson Fine has had a long-term involvement in the health and fitness industry. He has held various executive management positions with companies such as Holiday Universal Inc., U.S. Industries Inc., and Bally Total Fitness. Under his leadership, Holiday was the only fitness corporation approved by the SEC for an initial public offering. In 1984, he co-founded Belmont Associates, Inc., which provided accounts receivable services to independently owned fitness facilities throughout the country. Having his pulse on the industry, and to better serve his customers, he recognized the need for integrated accounts receivables services with club management software. This led to his acquiring a club management software development company. The two organizations have been operating since 2002 under the trade name Conexion. Benson lives with his wife in Timonium, Maryland and enjoys an active business and social lifestyle.
