Meet Al Noshirvani and members of the Motionsoft staff…
Al Noshirvani, CEO
With 25 years of experience in software sales, four of them as the General Manager of KI Software, Al, with his brother, acquired the assets of the company in October of 2004 and founded Motionsoft. Since the initial acquisition of KI, Al has completed five other acquisitions and grown the company to over 70 employees with offices in Baltimore, MD, Washington DC and Tucson, AZ. In 2010, Al was named by the Washington Business Journal as a member of the 40 under 40 which recognizes the Greater Washington regions brightest young business leaders based on demonstrated business success. With the vision of becoming the leading software platform to consumer service businesses’, Al has used his leadership, sales and marketing experience to build one of the most respected brands in the market. Previously, Al was a founder and Executive VP of Sales for a medical software imaging company which he successfully exited from.

Hossein is the co-founder of Motionsoft and is the head of Motionsoft’s marketing team. He has been involved in the health and wellness industry for over nine years and has in-depth knowledge and keen insight into the industry.

George Pappas, Chief Operating Officer (COO)[ Read the full bio… ]
George Pappas joined Motionsoft as COO after serving two years on the company’s Board of Directors. He brings deep cross-functional & international experience in R&D, Product Management, and Sales/Marketing, having built and led a variety of high-growth software & services organizations in the areas of Financial Services, Telecommunications, US National Security Community, and Higher Education. He is currently an advisor for data analytics firm Intelligenx and co-founder of SalesOps Analytics where he received a patent for his work. Prior to Motionsoft, Pappas held Executive Leadership positions at Educap, Plesk, Inc., CyberCash, Relay Technology and Bachman Information Systems. Most recently, he was EVP of Sales & Marketing for Education Services leader Presidium, Inc.
Ed Darwish, EVP, Financial Services & Compliance[ Read the full bio… ]
Ed started his career in Public Accounting joining Grant Thornton after graduating from the State University of New York with an accounting degree. After four years in the public sector, Ed joined a semi start up private company and was involved in the first acquisition of Karch International (now Motionsoft) in late 1999. In 2004, Ed joined Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to gain the experience working for a publicly reporting company and was involved in implementing Sarbanes-Oxley for the two government divisions he managed. In mid 2006, Ed joined Motionsoft as the Chief Financial Officer.
Steve Fitzgerald, Executive Vice President, Development[ Read the full bio… ]
Steve Fitzgerald is a seasoned senior executive that brings more than 29 years of software engineering and IT experience and a proven track record of transforming development teams into world-class technology organizations.
Prior to joining Motionsoft, Fitzgerald was the Chief Technology Officer for Echo360, the global leader in blended learning solutions, where he managed a highly talented engineering and QA team along with management responsibility for their cloud/SaaS infrastructure. He gained extensive offshore engineering management experience while at Razorsight where he created a global engineering team and was responsible for all product design, architecture, development, QA and software delivery along with all IT and cloud/SaaS operations.
Before Razorsight, Fitzgerald was Vice President of Software Development at SoftMed Systems before being acquired by 3M where he led the software development of more than 25 products.Prior to joining SoftMed Systems, Fitzgerald spent 15 years at PDS, Inc. where he oversaw product development, QA and distribution. While at PDS, Fitzgerald held various leadship positions including the Board of Directors, Product Steering Committee Chairperson and served on the advisory board of Centura Software Corporation.
Fitzgerald earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University and also holds a Computer Science degree from the Maxwell Institute in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
Tim Bender, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)[ Read the full bio… ]
Timothy Bender is a 14-year veteran of the corporate finance world. Most recently, he served as Corporate Controller at Vocus, a leadingcloud-based Marketing & PR company, where he helped contribute to the company’s growth from $4 million in revenue and 70 employees to $114 million in revenue and 700 employees. He is responsible for Motionsoft’s overall financial management and corporate compliance.
Dharmesh Trivedi, VP, Operations[ Read the full bio… ]
Dharmesh Trivedi joined Motionsoft as VP of Operations after nearly a decade helping start-up Razorsight become a leading innovator in cloud-based analytics software for the world’s largest communications providers. As Executive Director of Operations at Razorsight, Trivedi managed offshore operations in Bangalore, India with a large customer base and over $50 million in revenues. He was also responsible for overseeing the delivery and implementation of Data Capture services for numerous Fortune 100 clients, including Xerox and AT&T.
Bob Skinner , Executive VP Sales & Marketing[ Read the full bio… ]
Bob Skinner has more than thirty years of senior management experience in private and publicly traded software companies. Most recently Skinner was CEO of Agentek a provider of field service mobile solutions. Before that he was vice president of sales and marketing for the MRM division of Trimble Mobile Solutions. Prior to Trimble, Skinner served as executive vice president of sales, marketing and professional services at Vastera, Inc., a publicly traded global trade management software company which was acquired by JP Morgan.
Earlier in his career he was executive vice president of sales and services at Cysive Inc., a publicly held web services and software company, as well as president and CEO of High Branch Software, a developer of business-to-business e-commerce software. From 1992 to 2000, Mr. Skinner was executive vice president of sales, marketing and services at Best Software, helping to grow revenues from $10 million to $120 million and assisting in their 1997 IPO.
Mr Skinner has served on several boards including TrueCommerce, (sold to HighJump Software), and Ontutive recently funded by Edison Ventures.
Mr. Skinner has also served as an expert witness in software licensing and “best practice” matters before American Arbitration Assoc. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Connecticut and a B.A. in History from Quinnipiac University.
