I think we can all agree that Disney World is the greatest place on earth. But a very close second would have to be Las Vegas. What’s interesting about Las Vegas is they literally have buildings made out of gold. They make so much money that the only way they could think of spending it was to use gold everywhere. So how do they do it? (and what can we learn from them?)…Well, they know the answer to one simple question…
What you can learn from Vegas baby!

My only regret about IHRSA 2011
IHRSA 2011 was an incredible week for our team at Motionsoft. Thanks to everyone for the kind congratulations. It was awesome to see friends, colleagues and even my competitors in the software space who, after this many years in this business, I consider to be friends and colleagues. Of the entire week, I had only one regret. But it was a major disappointment so I wanted to share in hopes that you didn’t make the same mistake I did.

Isn’t it amazing what can happen in one year?
Preparing next week for the IHRSA tradeshow in San Francisco has been hectic to say the least. This is the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, World Series and Spelling Bee Championship of our industry all rolled into one. All the vendors want to make sure their equipment arrives on time, the booth is set up properly, and they have on their Sunday best…and by Sunday best I mean Nike Dri-Fit! For Motionsoft this year has been particularly festive…

Could you still become a professional athlete?
All of us at some point realize that the dream of being a professional athlete is probably over. For me it was 2003. It wasn’t because I had an injury, or was too old, or even because I didn’t have a NIKE sponsorship yet. No there was another reason I knew I would never become a professional athlete, and specifically an NFL player (not even a kicker). And what makes it so sad was that nobody actually had to tell me. I just knew.
