I love museums. Which would seem like an odd thing to admit to while writing a blog to the health and wellness community, but the reality is we have a lot in common with museums. No, I’m not talking about the Soviet-era weight machine you have in the back that should be in a museum. No, what we have in common with museums is actually quite a bit more . . .esoteric. I don’t know what that word means exactly but read more to find out what we have in common with museums.

If you’re like most gym owners, you’ve spent the last 6 weeks preparing for 2012 asking all the questions; WHAT am I going to buy, HOW many people will I hire, WHERE will I open my next location, WHO will I give a raise/promotion too, WHY is this guy Hossein so hilarious, and WHEN are we getting the next top 10 signs they should post in gyms. I’m sure you’ll read many Top 10 lists over the next two weeks, but here’s the first -after speaking to over 75 owners/operators, this is a summary of what I heard.
